How to Buy a Copart Vehicle in British Columbia
Buying for Personal Use in British Columbia?
Private individuals buying in British Columbia will need to go through a Broker for all clean titled and salvage items.
British Columbia Licensing for Individuals
Dealers, Dismantlers, General Business and Exporters
In British Columbia, dealers, dismantlers, general businesses and exporters will need to provide Copart an operational license issued by the Motor Vehicle Sales Authority of British Columbia (or, for business licenses, your local municipality) and sales tax exemption forms. Acceptable dealer licenses include New Vehicle, Used Vehicle, New Motorcycle and Used Motorcycle Dealer licenses.
Additionally, please complete the following forms and submit them to our Licensing Department via our License Uploader. These documents will be processed within one to two business days of receipt. Click here to watch a tutorial video on how to use the License Uploader.
