It is with great pleasure we announce our improved three-step registration process for new Members this week. This update allows new Members more signup choices to make their online auction experience easier.

Whether you’re registering as a business or an individual, Copart’s new registration process can be completed in three easy steps:

Step One: Fill out your basic information, such as your name, email address and phone number.

  • Once you have completed the basic information an email will trigger to create a password. Once you create a password you will be able to use the site with limited access as a free Guest Member. Please note: Until you complete all the registration steps you will not be able to bid and buy vehicles. As a free Guest Member, you can, however, browse vehicles.

 

Step Two and Three: Choose your preferred Membership, submit your payment and upload your government-issued photo ID (and any business licenses you may have). · Uploading this information allows our system to determine your bidding eligibility for different vehicle types.

Please Remember:

 

  1. New Members must fully complete the three-step registration process in order to bid on and buy Copart vehicles.
  2. In order to continue bidding and buying, currently registered Basic Members will need to upgrade their Memberships.
  3. If you are unable to complete the registration all at once, you are able sign back in to your Copart account with your login credentials at a later time to finish the registration process in the Account Information section.
