In New Hampshire, dealers, dismantlers, general businesses and exporters will need to provide Copart an operational license and sales tax exemption forms. Non auto-related businesses will be charged sales tax on purchases made in states that have a sales tax.
Operational licenses include, but aren’t limited to, dealer licenses (Vehicle or Utility Dealer Licenses), a dismantler licenses (the Automotive Recycling License) and a business license (the Repairer License). These licenses are all issued by the New Hampshire Department of Safety, Division of Motor Vehicles. Business licenses, including the Salvage Yard License, may also be obtained from your local municipality.
Additionally, please complete the following forms and submit them to our Licensing Department via our License Uploader. These documents will be processed within one to two business days of receipt. Click here to watch a tutorial video on how to use the License Uploader.
