In North Dakota, dealers, dismantlers, general businesses and exporters will need to provide Copart an operational license and a sales tax license for the same physical address, as well as sales tax exemption forms.
The North Dakota Department of Transportation issues dealer and business licenses. Dealer licenses include, but aren’t limited to, New Motor Vehicle, Used Motor Vehicle, Trailer, and Motor-Powered Recreational Vehicle Dealer licenses. Acceptable business licenses are Low Speed Vehicle and Mobile Home Dealer licenses. Business licenses issued by your local city or county office may also be submitted.
